NCP3420 は、同期降圧コンバータのハイサイドとローサイドの両方のパワー MOSFET のゲートを駆動するように最適化された、シングル・フェーズ MOSFET ゲートドライバです。ハイサイドおよびローサイド・ドライバは、伝播遅延 30 ns、遷移時間 20 ns で、3000 pF の負荷を駆動する能力を持ちます。広い動作電圧範囲で、ハイサイドまたはローサイド MOSFET ゲートドライブ電圧を最高効率になるように最適化できます。内部適応型の非オーバーラップ回路は、両方の MOSFET が同じ状態ならないようにして、スイッチング損失を低減します。LOW ロジックレベルを出力ディスエーブル・ピンに適用して、両方のゲート出力を低く駆動することができます。低電圧ロックアウト機能により、電源電圧が低くなると両方のドライバ出力を低くでき、サーマル・シャットダウン機能により、IC を過熱保護することができます。
