NCV890200 は、固定周波数、モノリシック、降圧スイッチング・レギュレータで、最大 36V の入力電源で動作する必要がある車載用、バッテリ接続アプリケーションを意図しています。車載用ドライバ情報システムでよくある低ノイズと小型フォーム・ファクタの要件があるシステムに適しています。NCV890200 は、標準 4.5 V ～ 18 V の車載用入力電圧範囲を、センシティブ AM 帯域を超える定スイッチング周波数で 3.3 V の低出力に変換でき、高価なフィルタや EMI 対策が必要なくなります。また、NCV890200 には、電流制限、ショート保護、サーマル・シャットダウンなど、車載用電源システムを目的とした保護機能もあります。加えて、高周波のスイッチングにより、使用するインダクタ値が小さくても、全セラミック出力フィルタ・コンデンサ (スペース効率のよいスイッチング・レギュレータ・ソリューションを形成) であっても、低出力電圧リップルです。
