NCP1562xは電圧モード・コントローラのファミリで、高効率と低パーツ数を要件とするDC-DCコンバータ向けに設計されています。同位相出力が2つあり、オーバーラップ遅延で同期伝導を回避してソフト・スイッチングを促進します。メイン出力はフォワード・コンバータ・プライマリMOSFETを駆動するよう設計されています。セカンダリ出力は、アクティブ・クランプ回路MOSFET、セカンダリ・サイドの同期整流器、または非対称ハーフブリッジ回路を駆動するよう設計されています。NCP1562ファミリは、デューティ比上限、低電圧ディテクタ、過電流閾値など重要な仕様に高精度を取り込むことで、コンポーネント数を低減しシステム・サイズを縮小します。NCP1562の2大特長は、ソフト停止と、時間閾値付きサイクル・スキップ電流制限です。ソフト停止回路では、重大な障害が検出された場合、制御された状態でコンバータの電力を下げます。サイクル・スキップ・ディテクタは、過電流状態が続く場合、ソフト停止シーケンスを有効化します。NCP1562には他にも、ライン・フィードフォワード、最大1.0 MHzの周波数同期、リーディングエッジ・ブランキング（LEB）によるサイクル単位の電流制限、independent 低電流と過電流とで独立したディテクタ、調整可能な出力オーバーラップ遅延、プログラム可能なデューティ比上限、内部スタートアップ回路、ソフトスタートといった機能があります。
